This Privacy Policy explains how Made Market, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “MadeMarket”, “we”, “our” and “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information obtained from members and from visitors to its website, www.mademarket.co (the “Site”) and the services, features, content, platform, tools or applications we offer (collectively with the Site, the “Services”). If you are a member with access to MadeMarket’s Services, you have agreed and are additionally subject to the Terms of Service, which incorporates this Privacy Policy by reference. By visiting the Site or using the Services, you consent to the collection, disclosure and use of your information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.
MadeMarket complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This compliance ensures that MadeMarket meets the privacy standards for the transfer, use, and protection of personal data transferred from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States.
What is the purpose of this Privacy Policy?

What types of information does Made Market gather about me?

Some of this information is derived from your Personal Information, but this statistical information is not Personal Information and cannot be tied back to you, your Account or your web browser.
- Financial information. Financial information, such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information) may be collected and stored by a third party payment processing company (the “Payment Processor”), and use and storage of that information is governed by such Payment Processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy.

How does Made Market use my information?
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect and improve our Services, to develop new ones, and to protect MadeMarket and our users.
We use your Personal Information to process and administer details of your membership, to communicate with you, to provide you with opportunities, and to keep you up to date with new developments at MadeMarket.
We also use and analyze the information we collect so that we can administer, support, improve and develop our business. MadeMarket may contact you using information you voluntarily provide. It’s important for you to understand that:
- Except as set forth herein, we do not share your information with unaffiliated companies for marketing purposes without your prior permission.
- Unless you opt-out, we may share information about you among companies affiliated with us to inform you about additional products, services or promotions that may be of interest to you.

International Transfers
To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer information that may include Personal Data to other MadeMarket affiliates who act as sub-processors, where we have operations for the purposes described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy will apply even if we transfer Personal Data to other countries. We have taken appropriate safeguards to require that your Personal Data will remain protected wherever it is transferred. When we share Personal Data of individuals in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), Switzerland or the United Kingdom ("UK") within and among MadeMaket’s Affiliates, we rely upon the Standard Contractual Clauses (approved by the European Commission and Swiss authorities) and UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses (approved by the UK authorities) where required. We also have additional safeguards where appropriate (such as commercial industry standard secure encryption methods to protect customer data at rest and in transit, TLS for MadeMarket hosted sites and other appropriate contractual and organizational measures.
International Transfers to Third Parties
Some of the third parties described in this Privacy Policy, which provide services to us under contract, are based in other countries that may not have equivalent privacy and data protection laws to the country in which you reside. When we share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland or UK with third parties, we use a variety of legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer including the European Commission-approved Data Privacy Framework Standard Contractual Clauses, as well as additional safeguards where appropriate. For transfers to or from the United Kingdom, we make use of the UK Addendum. Data Privacy Framework Notice
MadeMarket complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“EU-U.S. DPF”), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“Swiss-U.S. DPF”) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (collectively “the Data Privacy Framework”).
MadeMarket has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-US DPF Principles with regard to the processing of Personal Data received from the European Union, and the United Kingdom and to the Swiss-US DPF Principles with regard to the processing of Personal Data received from Switzerland. If there is any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the DPF Principles, the DPF Principles will govern. If you are located in the EU, UK or Switzerland, you have the right to request access to the Personal Data that we hold about you and request that we correct, amend or delete your Personal Data if it is inaccurate or processed in violation of the DPF Principles. We will give you an opportunity to opt out where Personal Data we control about you is to be disclosed to an independent third party or used for a purpose that is materially different from those set out in this Privacy Policy. In compliance with the DPF Principles, MadeMarket commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of your Personal Data. We will investigate and attempt to resolve any DPF Principles-related complaints within 45 days. EU, UK and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of Personal Data received in reliance on the DPF Principles should first contact MadeMarket at contact@mademarket.co.
In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework, MadeMarket commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the Data Privacy Framework to an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your DPF Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit https://www.adr.org for more information or to file a complaint.
Under certain conditions, more fully described on the DPF website, you may be entitled to invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over MadeMarket’s compliance with the DPF Principles.
In the context of an onward transfer, MadeMarket is responsible for the processing of Personal Data it receives under the DPF Principles and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on our behalf. MadeMarket will remain liable under the DPF Principles if our agent processes your Personal Data in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles, unless MadeMarket is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Please note that under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Disclosure of Your Information
Disclosure for our protection or our users’ protection. MadeMarket is committed to keeping your information confidential. MadeMarket may access, preserve and disclose your Personal Information (a) in response to legal process, (b) to protect our rights, as otherwise required by law or permitted by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, including investigations of potential violations hereof, (c) in response to user support requests or (d) for the prevention or detection of a crime.
Business transfers. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners can understand how and how often people use our Services and their services or websites, which facilitates improving both their services and how our Services interface with them. In addition, these third parties may share with us non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-Personal Information about you that they have independently developed or acquired.
- As stated above, a Payment Processor may collect and store financial information. We may from time to time request and receive some of your financial information for the purposes of completing transactions you have initiated through the Services, enrolling you in discount, rebate, and other programs in which you elect to participate, protecting against or identifying possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to manage our business.
Can I opt-out of MadeMarket’s collection and use of information?
Yes, but we require a minimum amount of information from you in order to provide our product and services. By withholding certain information from us, you may limit your ability to use our Services in whole or part.
Security & Information Retention
We employ security measures to protect your Personal Information both online and offline from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We encrypt many of our services using SSL. We will retain your Personal Information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires. What risks do I take by sharing information?

Third Party Sites
We are not responsible for the practices, privacy policies or the content of third party sites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”) we link to or you elect to access through the Services, and have no control of the use or protection of information provided by you to or collected by those Third Party Services. Whenever you choose to access a Third Party Service, you may be asked to provide registration or other information. What Information of Mine Can I Access?
If you are a member, you can access information associated with your Account by logging into the Services. Members and visitors can access and delete cookies through their web browser settings.
California Privacy Rights: Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of personal customer information which we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties.
How Can I Delete My Account?
Should you ever decide to delete your Account, you may do so by emailing support@mademarket.co. If you terminate your Account, any association between your Account and information we store will no longer be accessible through your Account.
